It
all starts with the soil:
The foundation of all turf and plant health begins with healthy soil.
We understand
the
nature of poor soil and the causes and effects on
plant growth. There
are many contributing
factors that lead to poor soil structure. The two primary culprits are soil
compaction, due to large amounts of non-porous clay, much like what you find in
the Southeast and second, a high content of residual salt from salt based
fertilizers. Compacted areas aren't conducive to microbial activity. This
activity in the soil is what breathes life into soil and allows plants to fully
develop their root systems. In part, Organic Lawns’ Gro-Green lawn care program
introduces live beneficial bacteria, fungi and other microbial life directly
into the soil thru the use of compost teas, fortified granular soil conditioners
and organic based granular fertilizers enhanced with trace elements and calcium.
It is estimated
that 15% of your property value can be attributed to the overall appearance of
your landscape, often referred to as "curb appeal." Neglected lawns,
ornamental trees as well as shrubs in
decline can take
away from the value of your property.
We generally start our customers on a bridge program (organic based) to wean there lawn off drugs
(chemical fertilizers). Chemical fertilized lawns become dependent on the quick
fix associated with synthetic fertilizers. Because the organic infrastructure
(microbial profile) has been destroyed or wreaked, by the use of salt based
fertilizers the plants can’t not survive without first re-building the life
within the soil.
Our bio-enhanced, custom blended organic based fertilizers help to
detoxify and buffer the chemicals and salts that prevent bioactivity in the
soil. It helps generate the soil-improving microbes as well as providing
numerous plant trace nutrients and bio-stimulants.
The result…
Environmental
harmony thru organics.
