Organic Lawns' integrated turf management program utilizes one of the best organic turf programs in the industry, developed to specifically address growth and disease issues in the Carolinas. Every other month Organic Lawns will visit your property as part of our turf management program to evaluate, diagnosis and provide a professional soil building, fertilizer application. We are one of the few companies in the Carolinas that offer Aerated Compost Tea.

February

It’s time to wake up the lawn. Our yearly program begins here with a comprehensive lawn inspection. We apply a pre-emergent weed control that will aid in the prevention and control of broadleaf weeds and annual crabgrass. This pre- emergent is combined with a bio-fertilizer 16-2-3 fortified with 2% Calcium, 2% Sulfur and 1% Iron. This treatment contains 37% 0rganic matter.

April

This application is the second application of pre-emergent weed control. With over 100 weed classifications in our area, one treatment just can’t get them all. This treatment is also combined with a bio-fertilizer 10-4-2 fortified with 3% Calcium, and 2% Iron. This treatment provides your lawn with the fertilizer and nutrients necessary to stay green and healthy. This treatment contains 54% Organic mater.

June

As the temperatures rise, Fescue and other cool season grasses are most vulnerable to the possibilities of summer stress and fungus attacks. Healthy, well maintained lawns reduce this possibility. During this period we apply a micronutrient rich fertilizer   4-5-2 fortified with 7% Iron. This application contains 60% organic matter.

August

Good turf grass growth is dependent on an adequate supply of all essential nutrients. We continue our feeding program with “Nature Pure” 4-4-2 fortified with 9% Calcium. It’s ORMI certified and contains 50% organic matter.

September

It's time for the “Turf Doctor” bio-fertilizer 8-14-2 fortified with 2% Calcium, and 2% Iron and 4% Sulfur. This application is our Phosphate fertility builder to encourage strong root growth. For cool season grasses this is the growing season. “Turf Doctor” will also help your established lawn to repair itself in case of damage that may have been caused by summer stress.

October

We step up our feeding program with a truly amazing fertilizer, fortified with 2% Calcium, 3% Sulfur and 1% Iron. This bio-fertilizer 16-2-3 incorporates five nitrogen sources that offer five measured releases of nitrogen for a broad spectrum delivery pattern and optimum root uptake.

December

It’s time to winterize! This is the last feeding your lawn will receive this year, so it’s important we provide enough nutrients to help it through the winter months. This is our last granular fertilizer application of the year. This bio-fertilizer 16-2-3 fortified with 10% Sulfur and 1% Iron is appropriately named “The Titan” and contains 20% organic matter.
